Dr. Myria Reese
Dr. Reese is a Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry, graduating Magna Cum Laude. She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Literature and Language from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Reese has received training in several aspects of Ocular Disease and Binocular Vision. She performs routine eye exams on both adults and children. She also routinely treats and/or manages patients for Dry Eye Syndrome, Glaucoma, Conjunctivitis, Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration, and removes foreign bodies (or objects) from patient’s eyes. She enjoys performing Multifocal/Bifocal and Monovision contact lens exams and has a keen interest in the pediatric population.
Dr. Reese is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Harris County Optometric Society.
She is a native of the Cypress/Houston area. In her free time, she enjoys learning new languages, exercising, spending time with her family, traveling, and sharing her faith with others.
